5 years ago, AMC ETEC filed an international patent for ECOCONTACT®, a foam of pure silver, which improves the quality of electrical contacts and reduces energy losses by almost 80%. Since then, the big names in the industry are testing the technology and many of them begin to integrate ECOCONTACT® in their electrical systems: ALUMINIUM DUNKERQUE, AREVA, ARKEMA, EDF, OMEXON, SCHNEIDER, ... ECOCONTACT® is referenced in the EDF database, OLIMP.

AMC ETEC has just delivered a major Canadian Industrial Group, 4 Disconnectors 700 KA peak. This major project required an extensive mobilization of technical teams to develop an Intelligent Management of Cooling, based on the ability of materials to store energy corresponding to an intensity of more than 700 KA. A true optimization of the pneumatic system has been studied thus allowing very short running time, and significantly reduced energy losses.
